Looking for volunteers for the Backlot Beer & Wine Weekend in St. Petersburg. The event is being held on May 20th & 21st. The events will be held in the lot between 3 Daughters Brewing and the Morean Center for Clay, off 22nd St S and 3rd Avenue South.Friday night is Wine Fest Friday, featuring a wine tasting and Live Jazz.
Saturday is the Backlot Beer Fest with sampling from over 50 craft breweries and music by the Spazmatics, featuring songs from the 80’s.
Both events benefit Hero To A Child and Operation Craft Beer Deployment. Hero To A Child supports children, young adults, and families impacted by abuse and neglect in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Hero to a Child was founded to ensure that the basic rights and needs of every child in the GAL program are met, needs that often surpass what the state can provide.
Operation Craft Beer Deployment sends a little taste of home to our deployed troops.
Each volunteer will receive a wristband and glass. Volunteers may participate in the event at the end of their shift. Volunteers who work at the end of the day may come early but we ask that you act responsibly. Intoxicated volunteers will be dismissed.
